Congratulations Dr. Stowell!

I can't believe the day has finally come. Lee is officially a doctor and no longer a student! I have been married to a student for almost 10 years and now I need to get used to being married to a doctor. I am so proud of Lee, he has worked so hard for this. There has been countless sleepless nights, meals skipped for lack of time to eat, weeks apart. Literally Lee has sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears for this day. He will be an amazing orthopaedic surgeon, his attention to detail, ability to listen and desire to comfort others will guarantee his success. I am so proud to be his wife and to have shared every experience of the process with him. Richard and Ann came for the weekend for graduation and as always, we enjoyed every second they were here. We are so lucky to have the support from family. To all our family we thank you for all you do for us, you have all been there with us through good times and hard times. We couldn't have made it this far without you! We are truly so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives. Thank you to Lee's parents and to mine, as well as brothers, sisters, and their spouses, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and good friends... We love and appreciate you all!

ZOO and Park

We have been enjoying a little spring weather, we went to the zoo last week and the park today!

We are going to Erie, PA!!!

The long-awaited match day has finally come and gone, and we are so excited to say Lee will be doing his orthopedic surgery residency in Erie, PA!!! We will be there for 5 years, and are moving the end of May. It is an amazing program, and a beautiful town right on the lake. I am so proud of Lee for all his hard work to get us here. It has been a long road and I am so greatful we have had this opportunity. The kids are excited and we are looking forward to getting to know our new town. Lee and I are leaving on a cruise to the Bahamas tomorrow and as soon as we get home, it's time for some full-time house hunting!

Snow Day!!!

In the four years we have lived here, we haven't seen more than a light dusting of snow until this week! It started Sunday evening and snowed through most of the day on Monday. Today is Wednesday and they have cancelled school for the last 3 days!!! Mason is loving his "snow week"! I, however, am soooo ready for spring!
