just an update...

We are just getting ready for school to start, the kids are excited. Ethan will be going to preschool 3 days a week and Mason will be starting the second grade. Lincoln is now walking and is trying so hard to keep up with the other two. Lee takes step 2 of boards tomorrow, we will all be glad to have that over. It is hard to believe that Lee is in his 4th and final year of med school. It's surreal to think that he will be a doctor in only nine months! He has decided to specialize in orthopedic surgery and is working hard towards a residency. Who know where we will live a year from now! We have loved Virginia so much and will be sad to leave but would LOVE to be closer to family. Mason has his first piano recital on Sunday, and he has written his first song which he will be performing at the recital. He has named it "Siberian Night". One of my friends said that Mason is an "old soul", which is so true. He loves musicals, his favorite movie is "Phantom of the Opera", and he loves anything beautiful and unique. How many 7-year-olds want to be an English Constable when they grow up? The other day our neighbor was getting ready to grill something and Mason looks out the window and says, "It looks like ol' sparky's getting ready to fire up the grill!" I have no idea where that came from! Ethan is still loving spiderman and asks me everyday, "How long 'till I grow up and I will be spiderman?" He is the most sensitive little boy. Linc is just getting to where he has it figured out that is he squeals loud enough, one of us is bound to come give him what he wants. His brothers spoil him, and Lee is wrapped around his finger. Life is great in my house of boys, I wouldn't have it any other way!

It sure sounds like you have quite the busy life. That's awesome you have Mason in piano lessons. I need to get my kids working on a talent. The only thing Nolan wants to do is ride dirt bikes so we are working on that one. Both Nolan and Cody are into city league baseball and soccer but that's about it. Congrats to Lee for all the hard work he has put in.
